Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. Location was convenient for exploring the city, with a supermarket nearby for any necessities.
The noise from the bar below the room made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Also, the hot water ran out during our showers, which was quite inconvenient.

I recently stayed at Albergue Rural Via De La Plata for my cycling trip along the Camino. The staff were absolutely fabulous - friendly and helpful. After cycling 50 miles, I enjoyed a truly awesome meal at the hotel, exactly what I needed. And with a Dia supermarket just 200m away, I could easily restock for the next day. The room was perfect, the location spot-on, and the chap running the place had a great sense of humor. The hotel also provided safe bicycle storage. The cafe was a great spot for drinks, and the room was big, beds comfortable, and it was all warm and clean. Definitely not the cheapest en-suite room along the VdlP.
100% Recommend this hotel.
